care and personal attention. Dr. Trattler treats patients with nearsightedness (myopia), farsightedness (hyperopia), astigmatism (blurred vision), and presbyopia (reading problems). He has performed thousands of refractive surgery procedures, not just LASIK and PRK (laser vision correction surgery), but other procedures like lens implants, conductive keratoplasty, phakic implants, limbal relaxing incisions, and cataract lens implants procedures to give patients a full range of choices when it comes to selecting the best treatment for them. Other eye doctors and athletes have chosen him to perform their laser eye surgery or another refractive procedure, including a professional athlete who competed in the 2008 Los Angeles Lakers- Boston Celtics NBA Finals. Dr. Trattler is active in professional societies and organizations. He has served on several panels for the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is also a member of the International Society of Refractive Surgery and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery among others. Locally, Dr. Trattler is a member of the Miami Ophthalmological Society, where he has served as a past president, and the Florida Society of Ophthalmology, which awarded him the Curtis D.
