Date:3/31/2009

The Power of the TRIAD Now Available with a Non-Invasive Collection

Duluth, Ga., March 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Are you a practitioner with limited access to blood draw facilities? Do you have patients that resist testing if a blood draw is required? Are you constantly looking for ways to make testing more convenient for your patients? If you answered yes to any of these questions, the TRIAD Bloodspot profile is perfect for your practice.

Metametrix Clinical Laboratory, a leader in nutritional and metabolic testing services, is pleased to introduce the new TRIAD Bloodspot Profile, a non-invasive specimen collection available for the powerful TRIAD test.

"Our main goal in creating the TRIAD Bloodspot option was to offer a convenient way for clinicians and patients to access this test," says Dr. J. Alexander Bralley, CEO of Metametrix Clinical Laboratory. "We are giving more clinicians access to the TRIAD, and offering ease of use for patients who can now complete the sample collection in the comfort of their own homes."

By integrating results from three different profiles, the TRIAD Bloodspot provides targeted, individualized interventions in one cost-effective package. The TRIAD Bloodspot compiles information from the following tests:

  • OrganixSM Comprehensive Profile: Measures organic acid levels to reveal the nutritional and metabolic basis of patient symptoms, including anxiety, mood changes, and immune responses.
  • Bloodspot Amino Acids Plasma 20 Profile: Determines essential amino acid imbalances that affect both physical and mental function.
  • AllergixSM Bloodspot IgG4 Food Antibodies Profile: Measures the level of IgG4 reactions for 30 common foods, which can cause delayed allergic reactions such as fatigue, depression, migraines, gastrointestinal problems,
