The z.one ultrasound system's Zone Sonography software-based architecture allows its performance to continue to improve as greater processing power becomes available. System upgrades can be downloaded via the internet, allowing for fast, convenient advances in clinical capabilities, enabling clinicians to cost-effectively maintain a state of the art ultrasound system. Upgradeability to anticipated future clinical applications, such as echocardiography, was also an important consideration to Memorial in selecting the z.one ultrasound system.
Throughout its history, Memorial has grown along with the community and recently completed an expansion to 600 beds. Memorial's mission is to maintain and improve the health status of the citizens of greater Stanislaus County, located in the San Joaquin Valley in central California. To this end, Memorial has added additional services, such as three adult intensive care units, where the z.one ultrasound systems are frequently used. Memorial is affiliated with Sutter Health, one of the nation's leading non-profit networks of community health services. ZONARE is under contract with Sutter Health to provide its Convertible Ultrasound platforms to Sutter affiliates.
"Memorial has been known for years as a healthcare provider that strives for excellence in patient care," said Donald Southard, president and CEO for ZONARE. "We are pleased to be a part of Memorial's team of healthcare professionals and Sutter Health."
