The presenters will draw from their experience with iKnowMed, an oncology-specific EHR that has achieved Complete Certification for Meaningful Use, and they will discuss what impact the Meaningful Use standards could have on community-based oncology practices. Other topics of discussion include an overview of Meaningful Use and recent proposed changes as well as important things for oncologists to consider before getting started on achieving Meaningful Use requirements. After the presentation, the speakers will hold an open discussion to address questions.
