About Maine Center for Creativity
Through its support of arts and industry collaborations, the Maine Center for Creativity (MCC) harnesses the power of talent and innovation to drive economic development and growth of the creative economy. By developing projects and educational programs that support the vibrancy of creative industries and the arts, MCC nurtures innovative companies, engaged communities and creative people.

One of MCC’s primary goals is to build awareness of, and visibility for, Maine as a place where creativity and innovation thrive. Among its many educational and creative projects, MCC initiated and collaborated with Sprague Energy, the renowned Art All Around® international design competition and public art project. When completed, eight Sprague oil storage tanks along South Portland’s waterfront will have been transformed into colorful works of art, visible from air, land, and sea. This year, Art All Around® will receive the Guinness Book of World Records award for the largest painted work of art in the world.
