Wayne, PA (PRWEB) January 26, 2009 -- MODA Technology Partners will be launching its Paperless QC Micro Webinar Series on February 10, 2009, 11:00-11:45 am (Eastern Standard Time). The live, interactive presentation will focus on Automating Environmental Monitoring, Utility and Product Testing and will feature Robert Lutskus, QCMLS Supervisor at ImClone Systems.

ImClone is global biopharmaceutical company and innovators of ERBITUX® (cetuximab), novel therapy for advanced head and neck cancer. ImClone is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Eli Lilly and Company that utilizes the MODA-EM platform for improved Environmental Monitoring and Utility Testing. The Webinar will be co-sponsored by Applied Biosystems and the Particle Counting Division of Hach Company.

With increased production demands of modern therapies--vaccines, injected drugs, human tissue--more aseptic processing conditions are required so that manufacturing facilities can ensure potential viable and non-viable contamination are under control. The paper-based, labor-intensive environment monitoring programs that are so prevalent in the industry are not capable of delivering the maximum value desired, and have become very costly to sustain. Mobile and wireless technologies now provide opportunities to automate environment monitoring and quality control SOPs and regulatory compliance.
