MO BIO Laboratories, Inc. Launches PowerLyzer(TM) 24 Bench Top Bead-Based Homogenizer
Date:5/24/2010

CARLSBAD, Calif.; May 24 /PRNewswire/ -- MO BIO Laboratories, Inc., the leader in soil, water and microbial nucleic acid purification, announces the launch of a groundbreaking new product, PowerLyzer™ 24 Bench Top Bead-Based Homogenizer, for powerful, fast and reliable homogenization and lysis of any biological sample.  The PowerLyzer™ 24 homogenizer will enable researchers to prepare samples for analysis faster, minimize cross-contamination, and maintain sample integrity.

The PowerLyzer™ 24 Bench Top Bead-Based Homogenizer is a bead beating instrument uniquely designed for the most efficient and complete homogenization and lysis of any biological sample.  In as little as 30 seconds, the PowerLyzer™ 24 homogenizer is capable of processing up to 24 samples in 2ml tubes.  With true "hands-free" operation, the downtime associated with manipulating samples through multiple cycles is eliminated.  Even the toughest and most difficult to process samples such as pine needles, seeds, spores, fungal mats and skin are easily and effectively lysed.  Combined with MO BIO's line of high quality nucleic acid isolation kits developed specifically for the PowerLyzer™ 24 homogenizer, the instrument yields substantial quantities of intact DNA and RNA ready for downstream analysis.

The PowerLyzer™ 24 homogenizer is available now.  For more information visit the MO BIO website (www.mobio.com/powerlyzer) or call 800-606-6246 to order.
