METTLER TOLEDO’s Newly Launched HE53 Halogen Moisture Analyzer Makes Moisture Analysis Accessible to Everyone
Date:8/5/2014

(PRWEB) August 05, 2014

The HE53 entry level halogen moisture analyzer encompasses METTLER TOLEDO’s tradition for Swiss quality in a no-frills, easy-to-use instrument making moisture analysis accessible to all.

Moisture Analyzer Product Manager at METTLER TOLEDO, Claas Boerger, stated, “We have years of moisture analysis expertise to draw upon, but the real challenge was to strip that back to just the basic functionality that customers need, at a price that everyone can afford, without compromising our high standards for quality.”

As a critical part of many quality control procedures, particularly in the food industry, METTLER TOLEDO’s HE53 halogen moisture analyzer provides reliable moisture results in just a few minutes, giving companies maximum control over their manufacturing processes and optimum product quality. The HE53 has been designed for simplicity to make it easy for even untrained operators to use. The very affordable price tag means smaller companies, that often feel they don’t have the financial resources to invest in high-end moisture analysis equipment, no longer need to forego moisture testing.

Easy Process
The HE53 provides graphical guidance on the instrument display so operators can clearly see each of the three steps in the process: 1. Tare the empty weighing pan, 2. Add the sample and spread evenly, and 3. Press start. The final moisture content of the sample is displayed on the screen after just a few minutes. The moisture content result indicates if the product meets the defined process tolerances and enables any necessary adjustments to the manufacturing process to be made immediately, saving time and avoiding the necessity to discard out-of-specification products.

Modern Technology
The HE53 uses modern halogen drying technology coupled with a high performance weighing unit to ensure moisture results are accurate and highly repeatable. The robust design ma
