MDV Expands Team Pursuing Advances in Personalized Medicine

verse background with 15 years of medical expertise and 20 years of IT experience. Prior to MDV, Riskin was the President of Interventional Dynamics Inc, a medical technology R&D firm. Prior to Interventional Dynamics, Riskin was in business development at Roche Diagnostics where he worked with MIT Media Lab and BodyMedia to create and commercialize an IT-based obesity management system. In 2005, Riskin was named one of the top 35 innovators under 35 by MIT's Technology Review.

Riskin is an acute care surgeon and intensivist. He earned a MBA with a focus in bioinformatics from MIT Sloan School of Management and completed the prestigious Biodesign Medical Technology Fellowship at Stanford in 2005. His medical training includes a MD from Boston University, surgical residency at UCLA, and a critical care fellowship at Stanford.
