AUSTIN, Texas, Aug. 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Luminex Corporation (Nasdaq: LMNX) today announced that management will present at the Thomas Weisel Partners Healthcare Conference to be held September 5 - 7, 2007, in Boston.

The investor presentation by Patrick J. Balthrop, president and chief executive officer, and Harriss T. Currie, chief financial officer, will begin at 1:30 p.m. Eastern time on Thursday, September 6, 2007.
