AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Luminex Corporation (Nasdaq: LMNX) today announced that management will present at the Biotechnology Industry Organization Investor Forum to be held October 9-11, 2007, in San Francisco.

The investor presentation by Patrick J. Balthrop, president and chief executive officer, and Harriss T. Currie, chief financial officer, will begin at 9:30 a.m. Pacific time; 12:30 p.m. Eastern time on Thursday, October 11, 2007.
