Liquid, Ammonium Ion-Free Glutathione Reductase Enzyme Introduced by Bio-Research Products

NORTH LIBERTY, Iowa, Dec. 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Bio-Research Products announced today that it is adding a liquid version of Glutathione Reductase (GR # 801) to its product line. The new Glutathione Reductase offers customers a choice between working with a solid, lyophilized (#800) or a liquid (#801) GR enzyme. Both versions are free of ammonium ions. Glutathione Reductase #801 has a specific activity of 20 IU/mg protein and an enzyme activity of 300 IU/mL.

Glutathione Reductase is a part of test kits measuring human tissue for Reactive Oxygen Species and kits for Glutathione Peroxidase. Both enzymes are important indicators of cardiovascular health.

Bio-Research Products is a producer of high purity enzymes used in medical diagnostic tests and biocatalysts for industrial applications.
