HOUSTON, March 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Sherry Jones, PHR, is the new national sales director for rapidly expanding Liberty Screening Services. The company creates uniform background-screening strategies for many Fortune 500/1000 clients and smaller companies through proprietary, real-time online solutions and products.
Despite a slowing job market and looming recession, demand for background screening is exploding, says Mary Hubbell, Liberty's vice president of sales and marketing.
Rising employer concerns about workplace violence, immigration status and I-9 employment eligibility issues, falsification of resumes, drug-and-alcohol abuse, homeland security and the Transportation Worker Identity Card program, and other employer concerns have dramatically increased the need for Liberty's proprietary, real-time online services she says.
"Sherry will build and manage a dynamic national sales team to support our growing customer base," Hubbell says. "We are hiring sales staff in the growth cities, starting with Houston and Dallas. Our plans to expand to a national sales team will be fully realized by year-end with key personnel in major cities."
In December, Liberty moved to new offices to accommodate the new national sales team.
Jones says her focus is Fortune 500/1000 companies who need background and drug-screening services coupled with exceptional customer service, progressive ordering and automatic email notifications of results to human resource managers.
