Leica Biosystems übernimmt Kreatech Diagnostics

NEWCASTLE-UPON-TYNE, England, und AMSTERDAM, July 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --

Leica Biosystems gab bekannt, dass das Unternehmen mit Kreatech Diagnostics einen Privatanbieter von DNA-Proben für die Fluoreszenz-In-Situ-Hybridisierung (FISH) und von Reagenzien zur Kennzeichnung von Zielstoffen in Mikroarrays übernommen hat.

Kreatech wird in die Sparte Advanced Staining von Leica Biosystems integriert, die in Newcastle-upon-Tyne im Vereinigten Königreich ansässig ist. Der zusammengelegte Geschäftsbereich wird eine Reihe zielgerichteter Biomarker für Leicas Instrumentenplattform entwickeln. Leica Biosystems ist Anbieter der ThermoBrite®- und BOND™-Systeme, die in Zytogenetik- und Pathologielabors weltweit zur Kennzeichnung von Gewebeproben für die diagnostische Interpretation eingesetzt werden.
