Date:8/26/2018

LabRoots, the leading provider of interactive virtual events for tech innovators, engineers, and scientists from around the world, will host the 4th Annual Microbiology and Immunology Virtual Event September 12-13. Microbiology and Immunology 2018 will cover an array of industries and disciplines, encompassing various research areas including medicine, agriculture, and space.

During the free, two-day event, participants will explore topics such as infectious diseases; new methods and emerging trends; ecology and evolution; applied microbiology; as well as developments in virology, virulence and vaccinations. Attendees will hear from keynote speakers Dr. Patrick McDermott, the director of the The National Antimicrobial Resistance Monitoring System at the Food & Drug Administration; and Dr. Vera Tesic, assistant director of the Clinical Microbiology and Immunology Laboratories at the University of Chicago.

Attendees can watch, learn, and connect with colleagues in the field during this conference from their mobile devices or computer easier than ever before, without the travel cost that is typically associated with these types of meetings. Equipped with gamification and point system, attendees can now move around the entire virtual environment earning points for a chance to win one of LabRoots most popular shirts.

Like other LabRoots events, participants can earn free continuing education credits. Following each presentation, viewers can click on the educational credit link provided for that particular speaker and follow the required process.
