KROHNE currently has a Flowmeter product called the OPTISWIRL that is ideal for Energy Management. KROHNE's all-in-one OPTISWIRL Instrumentation product delivers accurate measurement of standard volumetric and mass flow of conductive and non-conductive liquids, gases and vapors, even in applications that are prone to pressure and temperature fluctuations. Furthermore, the OPTISWIRL Flowmeter is the only device available in a two-wire configuration that combines a vortex flowmeter with a built-in temperature sensor in the flow stream and an integral pressure sensor at the point of measure. This combination is ideal for determining not only the apparent, or actual flow of steam or air, but the actual energy value being delivered, which is the ultimate goal of any energy distribution system.
