BEIJING and CLAREMONT, Calif., Jan. 17 /Xinhua-PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Kiwa Bio-Tech Products Group Corporation (KWBT.OB) has completed its annual management meetings including yearend business review, planning for 2008 and employee recognition ceremonies. The meetings commenced in Xiaotangshan, Beijing on January 11, 2008.
Attending were over 50 managers and staff from Kiwa's corporate headquarters in Beijing, and department managers of Kiwa Shandong and Tianjing Kiwa. During the sessions, company management team members gave speeches reviewing achievements in the past year for their departments. Acknowledgment was made of the comprehensive achievements of Kiwa's employees in 2007: significant improvements in revenues, improvements in operating efficiency and margins, updating of the bio-fertilizer factory, development, testing and approval of new products and expanded distribution and marketing efforts.
In addition, management set forth the business goals and described the main tasks for 2008. They outlined the objectives and strategic plans for the year for Kiwa Shandong, Tianjin Kiwa, bio-technology research and development, building the distribution network, financial management, and corporate management targets were set with the expectation of continuing and expanding on the progress of the past year.
During the session, the efforts of 28 individuals was recognized: 4 staff were awarded "Honor for Striving for Kiwa"; 8 staff were awarded as "Prominent Contributor"; 5 were awarded as "Best New Seller"; 11 staff were awarded as "Advanced Worker"; 2 were awarded "Honor for Loyalty". Lastly, representatives of the honored individuals gave speeches expressing their confidence in the bright future of the Company and pledged to work harder to achieve the objectives set forth for 2008.
