Kiwa Bio-Tech Ships 2,700 Tons of Bio-feed in One Month

BEIJING and CLAREMONT, Calif., Oct. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Kiwa Bio-Tech Products Group Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: KWBT) today announced that the Tianjin Kiwa Feed Limited Liability Company, located in Wuqing District in Tianjin, shipped 2,700 tons of animal feed during the month of September.

Mr. Wei Li, Chairman and CEO of Kiwa, stated, "We are pleased with the growth in volume of Kiwa's bio-feed products to approximately 7,550 tons during the third quarter compared to approximately 5,000 for the first two quarters of the year. We anticipate continued growth of the feed products will be complemented by sales of organic fertilizers from the Shandong factory."

Kiwa recently announced that:

-- it had completed the first stage of upgrading the manufacturing

facility for its fertilizer products,

-- had registered products with the Shandong Provincial Soil and

Fertilizer Station and

-- had six products certified as organic by the China Green Food

Association of the Agriculture Ministry

Tianjin Kiwa Feed is jointly owned by Kiwa and Tianjin Challenge Feed Co. Tianjin Challenge Feed Co. is partially owned by and has built a large sales network, in part, due to its relations with China Challenge Group. Its products are sold in Shandong, North China and Northeast China.
