Kiwa Bio-Tech Ships 114 Tons of Bio-Fertilizer in Fourth Quarter of 2007

BEIJING and CLAREMONT, Calif., Jan. 31 /Xinhua-PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Kiwa Bio-Tech Products Group Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: KWBT) reports sharply improved volume of bio-fertilizer products during the fourth quarter of 2007. Kiwa Bio-Tech Products (Shandong) Co., Ltd. ("Kiwa Shandong"), the Company's wholly-owned subsidiary operating in the bio-fertilizer industry, sold 114 tons of bio-fertilizer products during the last quarter of 2007 as compared with 14 tons in the same period of 2006, representing over 700% increase.

Mr. Wei Li, the Chief Executive Officer of Kiwa stated: "The newly finished first stage upgrade in Kiwa Shandong has significantly strengthened our capability in manufacturing bio-fertilizer products; and our marketing campaigns during past years raised awareness of Kiwa among customers. Our operation in bio-fertilizer industry is back on track."

At the end of the fourth quarter Kiwa announced that over 900 fertilizer- selling terminals have been established to sell Kiwa fertilizer products. These networks of sales terminals provide excellent direct distribution of Kiwa's Green Food Association approved products.
