Kiwa Bio-Tech Receives Nationally Recognized Organic Products Certification

BEIJING and CLAREMONT, Calif., Aug. 4 /Xinhua-PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Kiwa Bio-Tech Products Group Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: KWBT) announces that Kiwa Bio-Tech Products (Shandong) Co., Ltd. (Kiwa Shandong) has received an Organic Products Certificate from the China Organic Food Certification Center (COFCC).

After a two-month period of examination, verification and appraisal of Kiwa Shandong's products, the China Organic Food Certification Center issued an Organic Products Certificate to Kiwa Shandong on July 18. COFCC is the specialized agency under the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture to propel the development of organic agriculture and to be engaged in authentication and management of organic food and the organic food industry. Moreover, it is the first national organic food qualification agency authorized and structured by the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the Peoples Republic of China (Grant No. CNCA-R-2002-100), and has acquired recognition by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (Registration No. CNAS C115-0).
