decided that they wanted to have a greater impact by investing in the needs of diabetics in the state of New Jersey. The Foundation, based in Ridgewood, New Jersey, offers programs and services to people suffering from diabetes. The Diabetes Foundation supports a variety of programs and services, including: medical assistant programs; educational series for patients, caregivers and healthcare professionals; subsidizes the cost of sending children with diabetes to a co-ed diabetes camp; and provides annual grants to local endocrine fellows concentrating in diabetes.
