Innosight Board Member Honored With Lifetime Achievement Award

Innovation consulting firm Innosight announced that board member Roy Davis is the recipient of a lifetime achievement award from Global Corporate Venturing Magazine. The magazine’s annual Awards Gala and Symposium recognizes individuals and organizations for their contributions to the venture community, successful portfolio launches and sales, and industry leadership. Accepting the “Industry Legend” award, Davis was lauded for his prolific career with Johnson & Johnson and his dedication to developing new companies under the J&J banner that deliver transformational healthcare solutions.

The award celebrates Davis’ nearly three decades at Johnson & Johnson. Most recently serving as president of Johnson & Johnson Development Corporation (JJDC), he identified early market indicators, healthcare trends and strategic investment opportunities. He also led the creation of Red Script™ Ventures, designed to support the growth of external ventures and internal innovation. Under Davis’ leadership, JJDC, the venture capital subsidiary of J&J, fostered a culture of collaboration, dedicated focus, and milestone management with portfolio companies to improve the investments’ short- and long-term financial outcomes.

As a newly appointed member of Innosight’s board of directors, Davis offers a global perspective and a rich understanding of the healthcare industry. The authority on disruptive innovation, Innosight has deep healthcare expertise, helping pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers and healthcare service providers leverage new business models and solutions that redefine healthcare delivery in markets around the world.
