Innosight Announces Leadership Transition
Date:12/11/2012

BOSTON (PRWEB) December 11, 2012

Innosight, a strategy and innovation consulting firm, announced today that Scott D. Anthony has been named its new Managing Partner, succeeding Matt Eyring. Formerly Managing Director of Innosight Asia-Pacific, Anthony will lead the firm’s strategy and operations as it continues to expand globally and deliver new service offerings.

Innosight partners with some of the world’s leading enterprises to develop new growth strategies, build repeatable innovation capabilities, and launch new businesses and services. It is the leading authority on disruptive innovation and corporate transformation.

Innosight works with firms across a variety of industries, including health care, consumer packaged goods, finance, and telecom. During his decade at Innosight, Anthony has driven business results and innovation impact for a wide range of enterprises, including Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, General Electric, Medtronic, Ayala Group and the Singapore Economic Development Board.

Anthony joined the firm in 2003 and since 2010 has been based in Singapore, where he has led the firm’s expansion in Asia. He will remain based in Singapore.

Matt Eyring, the departing Managing Partner of Innosight, will be joining Vivint, the largest home automation company in North America. Headquartered in Provo, Utah, Eyring will serve as Vivint’s Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer, leading the organization’s directional growth initiatives. In addition, Eyring will continue to be affiliated with the firm as an Innosight Fellow, a network of innovation and strategy thought leaders.

“I’m excited to lead Innosight at a time when there is a tremendous appetite and need for new approaches to achieving growth,” says Anthony. “Our combination of outstanding talent, rigorous methodologies, and focus on delivering real impact will continue to position us to be the partner of choice for enterprises seeking to innovate, grow, and ultimately transform. We are sad to say goodbye to Matt Eyring, whose leadership and energy has helped the firm experience such strong growth in the past few years. It will be very exciting to watch what he accomplishes at Vivint in his new role. ”

Anthony is a prolific writer and speaker on innovation and growth. He is the coauthor, with Innosight Senior Partner David Duncan, of the just released eBook “Building a Growth Factory,” and author of "The New Corporate Garage," which appeared in the September 2012 issue of Harvard Business Review. He is the author of The Little Black Book of Innovation, published by Harvard Business Review Press in January 2012. He co-authored Seeing What's Next with Clay Christensen and was the lead author of The Innovator's Guide to Growth and author of The Silver Lining. He also writes a regular column at Harvard Business Online. He is a sought after speaker at conferences and corporations around the world.

Prior to joining Innosight, Scott was a senior researcher at Harvard Business School, where he worked with Professor Clayton Christensen, cofounder of Innosight and the leading academic authority on disruptive innovation.

Anthony chairs the investment committee for IDEAS Ventures, a SGD 10 million fund Innosight runs in conjunction with the Singapore government.
