In Focus with Martin Sheen Exploring the Advances of Molecular Medicine
Date:3/9/2013

Hollywood, CA (PRWEB) March 08, 2013

The producers of In Focus with Martin Sheen announce a May debut for a new report into how molecular science has become a key component in the battle against deadly disease.

In Focus Martin Sheen PBS is an independently produced television series airing in markets around the country on public television. The program is hosted by the legendary Martin Sheen, who is about to embark on his second half-century in American entertainment. Mr. Sheen has developed a reputation as one of Hollywood’s most respected actors during a career that includes more than 60 film appearances.

In May, In Focus Martin Sheen will bring public television audiences an exciting look at the microscopic world. Researchers are using powerful instruments to visualize diseases like Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, AIDS, and cancer at the molecular level, uncovering the building blocks of disease.

In this new report, In Focus will be talking to researchers about how this new insight is helping to craft new treatments that attack diseases at their very foundations, bringing new hope to patients and their families.

The producers of In Focus with Martin Sheen are hoping to debut the new report in May. Viewers can find air times and dates by checking their local listings. For more information about the reports or to offer other ideas related to this topic, In Focus with Martin Sheen can be reached through the show’s official website at infocusptv.com or on Facebook at facebook.com/InFocusMartinSheen.
