The producers of In Focus with Martin Sheen announce a May debut for a new report into how molecular science has become a key component in the battle against deadly disease.

In Focus Martin Sheen PBS is an independently produced television series airing in markets around the country on public television. The program is hosted by the legendary Martin Sheen, who is about to embark on his second half-century in American entertainment. Mr. Sheen has developed a reputation as one of Hollywood’s most respected actors during a career that includes more than 60 film appearances.

In May, In Focus Martin Sheen will bring public television audiences an exciting look at the microscopic world. Researchers are using powerful instruments to visualize diseases like Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, AIDS, and cancer at the molecular level, uncovering the building blocks of disease.
