Ikaria(R) Strengthens Commercial Operations and Human Resources Leadership

Appoints Stephen Ross Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations and James Briggs Senior Vice President of Human Resources

CLINTON, N.J., Aug. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Ikaria Holdings, Inc., a fully integrated critical care biotherapeutics company, announced today the addition of two key executives. Stephen A. Ross was appointed Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations and James Briggs was named Senior Vice President for Human Relations.

Daniel Tasse, President & CEO of Ikaria, remarked, "Steve and James add significant skills and experience to Ikaria as we continue to build our organization to achieve the leadership position in Critical Care. Steve infuses Ikaria with extensive experience in driving the marketing and sales of pharmaceutical products, while James brings with him a strong track record in creating operational efficiencies and driving employee development. We are confident that both will provide vital contributions to Ikaria as we advance our development pipeline and work to increase commercial opportunities for INOmax(R). Mr. Ross previously served as Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing at Cytogen, a specialty pharmaceutical company. At Cytogen, he was responsible for sales and marketing of Cytogen's four-product oncology portfolio. Prior to Cytogen, he spent fifteen years at GlaxoSmithKline where he held several positions, including Vice President, Specialist Business Units, GSK UK and General Manager of GSK Ireland. During his tenure at GSK, he managed sales and marketing for hospital and specialty products. Mr. Ross holds an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a BA in economics from Brigham Young University.
