ISPE European Conference Explores Megatrends Shaping the Future of Biotechnology

The International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) announced its 2019 ISPE Europe Biotechnology Conference, taking place in Brussels, Belgium on 25–26 September 2019. This event is a leading interactive forum for sharing biotechnology best practices, technical and operational solutions, and innovative approaches.

“Biopharmaceuticals have become a main pillar in the pharmaceutical industry, with significant transformation in the development, strategy, technology, and operations,” said Emmanuel Amory, Program Chair and Vice President, Primary Operations, GSK Vaccines. “This event will help to prepare biopharmaceutical professionals and their organization for the impact of megatrends in biologics that will influence their operations and shape the future.”

Education sessions will explore innovative concepts, like personalised medicine and cell and gene therapy, as well as professional ideas to overcome technological challenges in biopharmaceutical production. Featured presenters will elaborate on ideas on how to develop the "Biotech Workforce of the Future", new ways to address patient needs with new product types, and what their thoughts are for tomorrow.
