MetaGenoPolis est un projet de démonstrateur pré-industriel, financé par les Investissements d'avenir et porté par l'Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique (INRA). Le projet associe ICAN, Institut hospitalo-universitaire de cardiométabolisme et nutrition (Paris) et l'Université Catholique de Lyon. Au sein de l'INRA, MGP est porté par une unité du centre de recherche de Jouyen Josas, en étroite collaboration avec l'unité de recherche Micalis.
