Human Genome Sciences to Sponsor Conference Call to Discuss Second Quarter 2008 Financial Results

ROCKVILLE, Md., July 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Human Genome Sciences, Inc. (Nasdaq: HGSI) today announced that it will sponsor a conference call to discuss its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2008. These results are expected to be disclosed on Wednesday, July 30, 2008, after the capital markets close.

The conference call will be hosted by senior management and will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at 5:00 pm Eastern Time.

Investors may listen to the call by dialing (913) 312-0412 or (888) 686-9685 passcode 4551709, five to 10 minutes before the start of the call. A replay of the conference call will be available within a few hours after the call ends. Investors may listen to the replay by dialing (719) 457-0820 or 888-203-1112 confirmation code 4551709.
