HighPoint Solutions Selected by Global Biotechnology Company to Provide Master Data Management Solution
Date:4/1/2008

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., April 1, 2008 /PRNewswire/ -- HighPoint Solutions LLC, a premier provider of business-driven IT solutions, today announced it has been selected by a global biotechnology company to design and implement a Master Data Management (MDM) solution to prepare for the company's new product launches and support its expected rapid growth over the next few years.

Life science companies continue to strive to create a holistic view of their customers in order to better understand customer behavior, needs and values. A reliable Customer Data Management Solution (CDM) is the fundamental component in attaining this 360 degree view of a customer and improving customer satisfaction.

The project goal is to create the foundation for future data management initiatives; create a "Center of Excellence" in MDM with a team that is responsible for data quality and data governance; re-engineer processes around CDM to create a robust, scalable system to manage valuable customer data; and create a governance model to guide ongoing customer data management.

"In preparation for its anticipated growth, our client is undertaking a multi-faceted approach to prepare its information framework in 2008," explained John Seitz, CEO at HighPoint Solutions. "The MDM solution we are providing is the cornerstone of the initiative. With our expertise, we will provide an optimal blend of people, business processes, technical, and system and data architecture to efficiently manage customer data to continuously deliver business value."

The first phase of the project will focus on increasing the organizational awareness of MDM, defining governance processes, establishing the CDM technical environment, which will include Siperian's MDM technology, and loading the organizational and professional profiles and addresses from the company's disparate data sources.
