Hamamatsu Corporation Announces Exclusive Distribution of Its NanoZoomer Whole-Slide Scanners

BRIDGEWATER, N.J., April 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Hamamatsu Corporation announces that its NanoZoomer product line, which was previously distributed through third-party dealers, will now be available through the company exclusively. Effective April 1, 2012, the company is responsible for the sales, marketing, and technical and application support of the NanoZoomer product line for new customers throughout North America. Existing customers with active service contracts should continue to contact their current service provider.

Hamamatsu's NanoZoomer instruments for whole-slide scanning simultaneously deliver speed, accuracy, resolution, and sensitivity. The NanoZoomer converts glass slides into digital slides quickly and accurately, making it perfect for viewing and analyzing slide-mounted tissue at any resolution for both brightfield and fluorescence applications. Outstanding features include unparalleled image quality, high sensitivity, flexible fluorescence capabilities, and a Z-stack feature to accommodate thicker samples. Benefits also include copy and share capabilities, secure/safe storage of images, network and database interface support, and more.
