Essentials of Critical Care Orientation (ECCO) is a comprehensive introduction to critical care nursing. It focuses on the fundamentals, providing the theoretical foundation necessary to care for critically ill patients. ECCO includes 10 learning modules and uses a body systems approach. Modules are comprised of multiple lessons that provide in-depth, interactive content with rich graphics and illustrations that keep learners engaged. Each module addresses the anatomy and physiology of the body system, relevant diagnostic information, and the clinical presentation and management of common disorders for each of the body systems.

Essentials of Nurse Manager Orientation is a comprehensive course for frontline managers, charge nurses, aspiring managers and leadership staff. Essentials of Nurse Manager Orientation was developed in partnership with the American Organization of Nurse Executives and is the first Web-based leadership course created specifically for nurse managers. The course was developed by experts in nurse management and covers key skills necessary for successful leadership.

"This partnership with AACN adds significant value to HCCS' mission," says Ben Diamond, President of HCCS. "The combination of these detailed and high-quality AACN training courses combined with the functionality of the HCCS Simple Platform for Learning and HCCS Healthcare Learning Platform Learning Management Systems, promises to meet demanding critical care nursing and nurse management training requirements.  In addition, the courses provide a necessary vehicle for healthcare organizations to ensure staff provides the highest quality care to patients."
