Guillermo Moreno Named Aurillion's Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Veteran healthcare executive brings solid experience with international

healthcare and technology companies

TORONTO, Sept. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Aurillion, a leading provider of healthcare workflow management tools, announced the appointment of Guillermo Moreno as its vice president of sales and marketing. In this role, Moreno is responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives to grow the company's business throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia. He is based in the United States, and reports directly to Paul Gilmor, president and chief executive officer of Aurillion.

Moreno, a 24-year veteran of the healthcare industry, spent the past 10 years in healthcare information technology (HIT) at Cerner Corporation, a multi billion dollar supplier of integrated HIT. At Cerner, he held a variety of roles with increasing responsibility in sales, marketing, operations and client development, resulting in appointment to vice president and general manager of its Latin America and Caribbean markets. Most recently, Moreno was a partner with a consulting organization focused on healthcare transformation in both Canada and the United States.

Moreno is a board member for the National Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Foundation, the president of the South Florida HIMSS Chapter and a board member of the Central/North Florida HIMSS Chapter. Moreno has participated and spoken at various national and international conferences and events on diverse subjects related to healthcare technology, including trends and global expansion. Guillermo has a master's degree in architecture from Texas A & M University with a specialization in hospital planning and design.
