Green Dot CEO, Mark Remmert, will participate on a panel discussion about sustainable design from product design to material selection and manufacturing. Mr. Remmert will address considerations for material selection of biobased and compostable bioplastics. Dan Rocconi of Bixby International, a global leader in custom thermoplastic sheet extrusion will discuss custom manufacturing processes. Eric Chan, internationally recognized designer, will join the panel to share his insight from the perspective of the designer. These industry thought leaders will stress sustainable design as a holistic process that incorporates creative design with innovative materials and manufacturing.

“We’re proud to be returning as a sponsor of the sixth A Better World by Design Conference,” stated Mr. Remmert. “We know that truly sustainable design must incorporate a holistic approach that considers how a product is designed, what it is made from and how it is manufactured. We’re eager to introduce young designers to the possibilities offered by new innovative biobased and compostable materials.”
