CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Oct. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Genstruct Inc., a systems biology company focused on identifying molecular mechanisms, networks and biomarkers to better understand large-scale biology, announced today that it has appointed Julian Ray, Ph.D. as vice president of Engineering. In his new role, Dr. Ray will be responsible for managing the continued evolution of the Genstruct technology platform, customer platforms and the company's IT functions.

Dr. Ray has more than 18 years of experience in designing, developing

information management systems problems. Prior to joining Genstruct, Dr.
Ray was the chief technology officer (CTO) at auctionPAL, a venture-backed
technology- enabled business-to-consumer services company. From 2004 to
2007, he was the co-founder and CTO for C2GLogistics, an Internet startup
providing a suite of web-based services and mobile applications with a
large customer base in the life sciences ind
