UK/European Market from the Midlands

CHICAGO, Dec. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Today the British Midlands Development Corporation announced that Nebraska based GeneSeek has chosen the British Midlands as the location for their new European operation.

GeneSeek will be setting up their new base of operations in BioCity Nottingham, the UK's largest bioscience and healthcare innovation center. BioCity provides state-of-the-art laboratories, equipment, and office space for bioscience start-up companies and has the perfect infrastructure for GeneSeek to establish its presence in the European market.

"European expansion is an important component of GeneSeek's growth strategy which also includes new laboratory and offices in India to address the Asian market," said Abe Oommen, President and CEO of GeneSeek, "By selecting BioCity Nottingham as the location for our European operations, we'll be able to leverage the region's skill base, well-established science industry, and access all of our key markets."
