Gen-Probe to Webcast Two Upcoming Investor Presentations

SAN DIEGO, April 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Gen-Probe Incorporated (NASDAQ: GPRO) announced today that the Company will present at Deutsche Bank Securities' 26th Annual Health Care Conference in Boston on May 3 at 4:50 pm Eastern Time (ET), and at ThinkEquity's 2nd Annual Health Care Conference in New York on May 25 at 10 am ET.  The presentations are scheduled to be webcast live and may be accessed through a link on the investors section of Gen-Probe's website at www.gen-probe.com. The webcasts will be available for 30 days following the event.
