Gen-Probe Announces Webcast of Fourth Quarter and Full Year 2008 Earnings Conference Call

SAN DIEGO, Jan. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Gen-Probe Incorporated (Nasdaq: GPRO) announced today that the Company will release its fourth quarter and full year 2008 financial results on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at approximately 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET). The announcement will be followed by a conference call at 4:30 p.m. ET. Hank Nordhoff, chairman and chief executive officer, and Herm Rosenman, senior vice president, finance, and chief financial officer, will host the call.

The conference call will be webcast live and may be accessed on the investors section of the Company's web site at www.gen-probe.com. An archived version of the webcast will be available on the same web site for at least 90 days. A telephone replay also will be available for 24 hours after the call ends.
