GHI Medical Deploys New Test to Help Determine Hair Loss
Date:3/14/2008

CLEARWATER, Fla., March 14 /PRNewswire/ -- GHI Medical, a national leader in preventative healthcare testing, is implementing a new method to correlate the results of a current test used to analyze specific causes of hair loss; the test is called the TrichoBioScan(TM).

The TrichoBioScan(TM) consists of a comprehensive panel of specialized blood testing combined with an in-depth microscopic analysis of a person's hair follicle as well as other individualized tests. The results help to rule out unknown health issues that are directly associated to hair loss while helping to determine the specific reason the hair follicle died.

This test will be available through its affiliated company New U Hair http://www.newuhair.com . "This method is an excellent first step in developing a patient-specific roadmap for healthy hair. It will help people decide what additional tests could possibly be beneficial, what products may work, and what other options are available," said Dr. Larry Perich, one of the medical directors of New U Hair.

GHI Medical is focused on developing and delivering state-of-the-art preventative healthcare testing procedures. Our company's success over the last year has provided the opportunity to invest in research and development that is focused around more advanced and comprehensive preventative healthcare testing. "On average we find an unknown illness in over 25 percent of the people that we test; sometimes serious and life threatening," said Dr. Hirschauer, Medical Director of GHI Medical. "Early detection is sometimes the only way someone can be easily cured."
