Repo! The Genetic Opera, was released in August 2008 and is distributed by LionsGate Entertainment and produced by Twisted Pictures, the same companies involved in the successful Saw series. "Having the opportunity to return to Full Sail where I learned my craft and being able to share my work with the students and faculty was a truly rewarding experience," said Bousman. "It is my hope to inspire even one student to pursue their dreams just as I did, and place their unique footprint on the film industry."

Dave Franko, Program Director for Film further added, "Watching Darren's film and having the opportunity to hear him speak is not only an incredible lesson for our current students, but it is also a very proud moment for our faculty and staff.
