Huntington, W.Va. (PRWEB) August 28, 2013

Crosscutting Concepts is proud to release a new series of in-depth lectures on forensic science to accompany the Mystery of Lyle & Louise hands-on forensics curriculum. The first lectures in the series include DNA Typing, Drug Testing, Glass Fragment Identification and Forensic Entomology.

A free preview of each lecture is available, and full access is granted to current and future users of the Mystery of Lyle & Louise.

With more than 10,000 kits sold, the Mystery of Lyle and Louise is a premier curriculum for forensic science designed for high school and introductory undergraduate education. Comprised of independent hands-on laboratory kits, Lyle and Louise introduces your students to a broad range of techniques in forensic analysis, including DNA Typing, Questioned Document Examination, Forensic Entomology, Bite Mark Analysis, Blood Spatter Analysis, Hair and Fiber Analysis, and more. More than 500 schools used the Mystery of Lyle & Louise in their curriculum during the 2012-13 school year.

Each module allows students to process different evidence from multiple crime scenes in a complex murder mystery scenario set in a rural Appalachian town. You, as the instructor, pick which of the independent modules you want to use in your class.

About Crosscutting Concepts - We develop, manufacture, and market innovative hands-on science education products for high school and post-secondary education. Our passion is to show students the freedom that a strong understanding of science can provide.
