Lot#1215 Orthopedic Surgical Implant

US 6,090,143 - Box Cage for Intervertebral Body Fusion

This invention relates generally to apparatus for effecting intervertebral body arthrodesis, and more particularly to an improved cage construction for reducing movement of adjacent vertebral bodies to thereby enhance bone growth and fusion. This patent would not impede mobility as much as the BAK Cage system or other implants with the 'flat' design.

Lot#1216 Omnibus Pathogen Detection

US 8,076,104 Rapid and Comprehensive Identification of Prokaryotic Organisms
US 5,849,492 Method for Rapid Identification of Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic Organisms
US Application 20120058485 Rapid and Comprehensive Identification of Prokaryotic Organisms (continuation)
US Application 20080286797 Accurate Identification of Organisms Based on Individual Information Content

Inventors Background : Peter Rogan
Dr Rogan is an internationally recognized researcher in human genomics and bioinformatics who has authored more than 100 scientific publications and holds several related patents. Molecular genetic technology that provides rapid and precise direct identification of bacterial or fungal infectious agents, alone or in mixtures. A DNA-based omnibus technology that can determine the identity of a wide spectrum of living infectious agents. It is not necessary to know what type of organism is present, nor is it necessary to culture it prior to analysis. Existing microbiology laboratory methods are frequently inadequate for diagnosis of high-risk patients and slow growing infectious agents.
