Farmers Across the U.S. Realize Double-Digit Yield Advantage From DEKALB(R) Corn Seeds With Triple-Stacked Traits
Date:12/14/2007

est corn germplasm pool to find the best genetics from anywhere in the world that brings greater yields to farmers here in the United States," said Jason Hoag, DEKALB Marketing Manager. "You can see the benefits from that pool in these results."

The DEKALB brand of corn seed has seen six consecutive years of market share gains in the U.S. corn seed market, growing to 23 percent market share or more than doubling its presence in the market in the last five years.

To continue to keep pace with growing demands, Monsanto has recently announced manufacturing expansions in Nebraska and Iowa that will more than double corn seed production in both states. Combined, Monsanto is investing more than $380 million in both states to expand existing corn seed operations and build two new DEKALB corn seed conditioning facilities.

Individual results may vary, and performance may vary from location to location and from year to year. This result may not be an indicator of results you may obtain as local growing, soil and weather conditions may vary. Growers should evaluate data from multiple locations and years whenever possible. Always follow grain marketing and insect resistance management requirements, and follow pesticide label directions. YieldGard products are not yet registered in all states.
