FREE Infant CPR Training and Cord Blood Banking 101 for Expectant Parents

WHO: Expectant parents are invited to this free infant CPR training and

certification, taught by a certified CPR instructor from Safety

Net. Family Cord Blood Services personnel will also be on hand to

provide a brief overview of the company's services, explain the

basics of cord blood banking and lead a tour of the

state-of-the-art facility.

WHY: According to the U.S. National Library of Medicine, CPR can be

lifesaving and is best performed by those who have been trained in

an accredited CPR course. The organization recommends that all

parents and those who take care of children should learn infant and

child CPR.

Family Cord Blood Services offers its series of free infant CPR

training and certification to expectant parents to help teach

infant safety and prepare parents for emergencies. The company

also educates parents about how to protect their children through

umbilical cord blood banking. The company banks umbilical cord

blood at birth, and the cells are cryogenically frozen for later

use in medical treatments if ever needed.
