ell as Ph, TN, TKN and TP. Each food processing plant presents a different treatment challenge which requires the use of different treatment technologies.

DAF supplier in North America
FRC is committed to the continual improvement of industrial wastewater treatment methods and equipment in the food industry. FRC is a major DAF (Dissolved Air Flotation) supplier in North America. DAF is one of the technologies they often recommend to their customers because of the excellent reliable performance at low or no chemical cost. FRC recently supplied another large DAF to a food processing plant in Australia. Adriaan van der Beek says, “It is not practical to provide maintenance parts from the USA to Australia. Recycle pumps are standard ANSI style pumps which are available through multiple outlets anywhere in the USA and the rest of the world. Other suppliers provide ‘special pumps’ which can be only be purchased through the original DAF manufacturer”.

When it comes to effluent controls, FRC is ahead of the curve without adding costs. Stuart Day, engineering manager of FRC says, “We are able to include complete SCADA packages in our wastewater treatment systems and support the client from our offices in the USA and Canada.” FRC can adapt its control system approach to make use of the customer’s standard PLC, HMI and control products.

FRC is Unique
FRC employees at the McCormick Place booth will have a combined experience of over 100 years in industrial wastewater treatment. “This is essential in our business,” explains Adriaan van der Beek, “The state-of-the art technical products, combined with our deep technical knowledge enables us to offer every client a superior treatment approach. FRC’s technology is reliable and every system we design is a solution tailor-made for each customer. This makes FRC unique in many ways.” Visit us if you can or go to our we
