Experts Alert Doctors of Oklahoma Tornado Victims of Mold Infections; My Cleaning Products Suggests Solutions to Effectively and Safely Counter Impending Mold Problems

Oklahoma City, OK (PRWEB) May 27, 2013

Oklahoma tornado left deaths, injuries and houses reduced to debris. However, besides recovering from those visible damages, a report from suggested that attention must also be given to threats that are yet to happen – mol infections. In relation to that, My Cleaning Products recommended two mold remediation solutions to help victims effectively and safely counter the possibly looming mold problems.

According to the report, experts said that doctors treating tornado victims should be cautious of fungal infections, My Cleaning Products stated. One that they particularly advised them to be alert of is the rare but fatal mold infection termed as necrotizing cutaneous mucormycosis.

It was stated in the report that the condition could lead to a serious illness and has a fatality rate of 50%, MCP related. And as it shared, it happens when mold goes airborne and gets inside the skin via common tornado wounds.

As detailed in the report, in Joplin tornado, five out of 13 cases of recorded necrotizing cutaneous mucormycosis ended in death, MCP relayed.

Below is a part of My Cleaning Products' post entitled Oklahoma Tornado Victims Warned of Fungal Infections.

“The Oklahoma tornado caused the state 24 deaths. Also it left 237 people injured and about 13,000 homes destroyed. But besides the restoration of the visible damages, attention must also be given to things that are impending. And according to experts, fungal infections are among those things that tornado victims should look out for.

Particularly, those badly hurt by the twister were warned by the experts of a mold infection called experts as the necrotizing cutaneous mucormycosis. It is basically a soft-tissue infection that occurs when mold gets airborne and contaminates wounds common after tornadoes. Such wounds are blunt trauma, fractures and penetrating injuries.”

My Cleaning Products stated the rain and flood that the tornado brought would surely lead to mold growth. And to prevent the fungal infections that come with its infestation, it asserted that the victims of the disaster must be ready for a mold treatment.

For that, the company advised them and the rest of the public to have Molderizer and Safe Shield prepared. It stated that the two products offer an effective and safe mold treatment that is easily implemented.

Molderizer, it explained, kills mold by changing its DNA make-up. Meanwhile, it said that Safe Shield provides a protective layer at the treated surface thus, preventing the mold come back.

MCP shared that Complimentary Samples of Molderizer and Safe Shield are available. Anyone who wants them, it stated, could go to its official website
