Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) November 06, 2013
ExakTime, manufacturer of construction’s #1 time and attendance system in North America, has introduced TimeSummit 1.4, the latest version of its time tracking hub that adds three powerful new tools to its software: Employee curtaining, daily overtime tracking by location and employee expense tracking.
The industry’s leading time tracking software collects, stores and reports on all time and attendance data recorded by ExakTime’s wireless, mobile and rugged time clocks in the field – including employee hours, worker locations, job sites, cost codes, equipment, budgets, materials, field notes and more.
The new employee curtaining feature benefits supervisors that track crews on the ExakTime Mobile time tracking app.
Rather than display the entire TimeSummit database of employees, employee curtaining shows supervisors only the employees that they need to track at their specific job site – saving time and eliminating potential errors.
Daily overtime tracking by location allows an administrator in TimeSummit to set different overtime rules at different job sites, ensuring overtime rules are correct at job sites and calculations are correct within the software.
With employee expense tracking, supervisors can track custom-set expenses – like tools, supplies, meals and travel – and their costs, giving business owners an even deeper look into their final project costs.
“TimeSummit’s new tools make it easier for supervisors to track workers, and they give business owners the most granular look into their day-to-day labor costs that they’ve ever had,” said ExakTime’s CEO, Tony Pappas.
TimeSummit. 1.4 is available for download today.
TimeSummit exports digital time records to the most popular payroll applications in construction – including QuickBooks, Sage Microsoft Dynamics AX and dozens more – completely automating payroll for companies using the system.
Founded in 1999, ExakTime is the leader in wireless, mobile and extreme-rugged time and attendance solutions for construction, landscaping and maintenance contractors as well as mobile employees and workers in industries such as transportation, agriculture, energy, mining, oil and gas and more.
