Environmental Tectonics Corporation Announces a Multiple Sale of Hyperbaric Monoplace Chambers to Comprehensive Healthcare Solutions

SOUTHAMPTON, Pa., Oct. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Environmental Tectonics Corporation's (Amex: ETC) ("ETC" or the "Company") BioMedical Division today announced the sale of three (3) additional BARA-MED(R) XD Monoplace Hyperbaric Chambers to Comprehensive Healthcare Solutions, Inc.

Comprehensive Healthcare Solutions, a growing company who focuses solely on initiating and operating Wound Healing Institutes throughout the United States, has purchased a total of five (5) BARA-MED(R) XD chambers from ETC within the last ten month period.

Mario Caruso, CHT, DMT-A, Technical Director, Hyperbaric Services for Comprehensive Healthcare Solutions, remarked, "We strive to be at the cutting edge of advances in wound care and hyperbaric medicine. ETC's BARA-MED(R) XD monoplace chamber has features, like computer control, programmable curvilinear descent, and more. The employment of these advanced components, make it the hyperbaric chamber of choice for us."

ETC is the only manufacturer of a 4th generation, time-honored computerized monoplace hyperbaric chamber. The BARA-MED(R) XD includes O.S.C.A.R. (TM) (Operating System for Control And Recordkeeping).

With O.S.C.A.R. (TM), you eliminate the need for operator dive time management and paper recordkeeping while ensuring comprehensive documentation of the procedure. These features enable technicians to focus their attention on patient care and management, making your team more effective and efficient.

ETC manufactures the industry's most technically advanced hyperbaric chamber. ETC chambers remain the leader in providing a patient friendly pressurization alternative (Smooth Ride(TM)) that minimizes complications due to middle ear and sinus barotraumas without increasing compression time.

Gene Davis, President of ETC's BioMedical Division, commented, "We are delighted with the growth we have experienced this fiscal year. Sales are at an all time high."

ETC's BioMedical Systems Division's goal is to continue to be at the forefront of hyperbaric medicine and EMR with O.S.C.A.R. (TM).

ETC designs, develops, installs and maintains aircrew training systems (aeromedical, tactical combat and general), disaster management training systems and services, entertainment products, sterilizers (steam and gas), environmental testing products, hyperbaric chambers and related products for domestic and international customers.
