Envera Increases Scientific Staff

Envera announced today the addition of Jeffrey Holt and Nantiya Abraham to the Research and Development staff. Dr. Holt enters the company as a Research Scientist with Mrs. Abraham serving as a Research Technician.

Mike Matheny, President and Owner of Envera stated, “The continued growth of our business, and Envera’s focus on research and development, has prompted the addition of laboratory personnel. We are pleased to have Dr. Holt and Mrs. Abraham join our team and I look forward to their assistance with several laboratory projects”, added Matheny. “With almost 20 years of combined laboratory experience I am sure they will have a positive impact on our future”, concluded Matheny.

Dr. Holt holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology from Ohio University, a Masters of Biotechnology from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from Drexel University. Jeff’s Ph.D thesis focused on the Isolation and Characterization of Novel Mutants of Campylobacter jejuni. Jeffrey brings Envera a diverse background in molecular biology, bacteriophage expertise, and an extensive background in animal pathogen infection and modeling.

Mrs. Abraham earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Microbiology from Naresuan University. Nantiya spent 4 years as a Quality Control Analyst for Mead Johnson Nutrition Ltd, a manufacturer of infant formula and other milk products. While in this position Nantiya performed a variety of microbiological tests to insure the safety and quality of the Mead Johnson Nutrition product line in an ISO/IEC 17025 and GMP/GLP environment.
