improve the way in which upstream exploration works," said Phil Andrews, CEO at Getenergy.  "It is evident that our community felt the same way: Geofacets clearly presents an opportunity for organizations to make the most of information to investigate new opportunities and we're keen to see what it can do for the industry."

"We are delighted to have won the Getenergy award for our collaboration with the Geological Society of London," said Friso Veenstra, Director of Market Development, Oil & Gas at Elsevier. "This emphasizes how working together benefits the oil and gas industry, as our joint Geofacets tool specifically-provides a global resource for geoscientists in upstream exploration. As the industry faces challenges in finding new resources, it is tools such as Geofacets which will give professionals the information they need to make the best exploration decisions. Winning such a prestigious accolade within the oil and gas market is testament to our hard work and dedication throughout this project."

The Getenergy Award ceremony was held on the evening of June 13th at the prestigious One Whitehall Place in London, UK. Entries were voted for from a shortlist, with over 11,000 individuals taking part in voting.
