EUROPLASMA: Résultats consolidés 2012

le cadre d'un contrat de traitement et de conditionnement des déchets faiblement radioactifs de la centrale nucléaire de Kozloduy (Bulgarie), dit KNPP. L'exécution du contrat a repris au terme d'un report d'une année des échéances demandé par le client et, au 31/12/2012, les équipements étaient livrés sur le site de Morcenx et le montage du four plasma avait débuté, aux fins de tester l'installation et d'obtenir sa réception en usine avant son démontage, expédition et remontage sur le site de la centrale Bulgare.

Europlasma a poursuivi ses activités de R&D dont notamment le programme KIWI (Kobelco Industrial CHO poWer GasIfication) développé en partenariat avec Kobelco Eco-Solutions (ex Kobe Steel). Ce programme commun de recherche et développement dans le domaine de la production d'énergie à partir de déchets vise la mise au point d'un équipement industriel basé sur les technologies respectives d'Europlasma et de Kobelco. Ce programme, qui représente un co-investissement de plus de 6 millions d'euros sur 3 ans, a reçu le soutien d'OSEO et du Conseil Régional d'Aquitaine. Au 31/12/2012, le pilote était construit et mis en service et trois campagnes d'essais avaient déjà été menées au cours des mois d'octobre, novembre et décembre 2012. Ces premières campagnes se sont déroulées conformément aux attentes et les résultats d'analyses sont satisfaisants.

Par ailleurs, le programme de recherche SESCO, en partenariat avec les laboratoires PROMES et Cemthi, primé par l'ADEME dans la catégorie « technologie innovante pour l'environnement » a suivi son cours. Ce programme consiste à utiliser le COFALIT (matériau issu de la vitrification d'amiante) pour le stockage d'énergie solaire et est soutenu par l'
